If you’ve got a lot of kids and a vehicle that can fit both them and all of their stuff, then buy a minivan. If you want an efficient vehicle that gets great mileage on your long commute to work, purchase a hybrid sedan. But if all you want is a car that’s really, really fun and really, really good-looking, we have a hard time suggesting anything other than the forthcoming 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, which according to Dodge is going to be the fastest and most powerful muscle car in the history of the brand.

Specifically, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat offers a monstrous 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces a pretty unbelievable 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. It’s an engine that can push the car to a 10.8-second quarter-mile, and the really nice thing is that because this is a Dodge and not some ostentatious luxury brand, the price tag on the thing is much more reasonable than one would expect with power numbers like that.

The SRT Hellcat isn’t the only vehicle in the new Challenger lineup, however, as there are less powerful and more affordable trims available on the car, as well, but even the smallest available engine is the Pentastar V6 that pushes out 305 hp. Things only get better from there.

From the outside, this vehicle is a gorgeous throwback, but under the hood it’s anything but dainty, producing the kinds of power numbers that auto enthusiasts absolutely adore. Dodge dealers like us are pretty partial to them, too.
