Any time Jeep comes up with an entirely new vehicle to add to its stable of SUVs and crossovers, fans of the brand are understandably enthralled. That has been the early reaction to the upcoming 2015 Jeep Renegade, a new CUV that will serve as the smallest of the Jeep family, thereby providing a maneuverability and efficiency not yet enjoyed by the largest models in the lineup.

Unfortunately, the vehicle has not arrived at your friendly neighborhood Jeep dealership, which means people aren’t able to test drive them yet, but thanks to a recently-released configurator, potential customers can get their most in-depth view of the vehicle to date. By experimenting with different colors, trims and options, consumers can better understand the various pricing tiers with a look ahead at how the new Renegade might fit into someone’s budget.

There are a number of ways to put the Jeep Renegade together, with the low-end models proving rather affordable and the top-of-the-line trim costing considerably more. Of course, with that top Trailhawk trim, equipped with the Trailhawk Premium Group, drivers can enjoy heated leather seats, dual-zone climate control and a heated steering wheel, while adding other optional packages can tack on advanced safety tech like blind spot monitoring and cross-traffic assist. Navigation, satellite radio and push-button start are among the other options available on the new Jeep Renegade.

The crossover will hit lots in the next few months, but while you wait this is a great (and really fun way) to pass the time.
