Here at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we constantly brag to our customers about how safe the automobiles that we sell are. While this particular selling point isn’t necessarily challenged by customers, a few models from the stable occasionally perform well enough on safety tests to earn accolades for their high scores. Over the course of the last few weeks, for example, both the 2017 Dodge Charger and 2017 Chrysler Pacifica were awarded with two of the more prestigious safety honors in the automotive industry today.

The 2017 Dodge Charger, for starters, was recently given a five-star overall safety rating after having gone through the federal government’s array of tough crash tests. For those unfamiliar with how the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration does business, five stars is the highest rating a vehicle can receive. Considering the Dodge Charger has earned that elite score in each of the ten years it has been tested, we feel very confident labeling it one of the safest automobiles we currently sell to Vicksburg, MI customers.

Of course, it wasn’t alone in garnering praise for safety. The all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacific was just named a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which means it not only scored top marks of “Good” on all the major crash tests, but it also features sensor-fusion technology to increase safety for drivers and passengers, the first minivan in the industry to do so.

If you’re interested in checking these out, please feel free to stop by your friendly neighborhood Dodge or Chrysler dealership and one of our sales associates will be happy to get you behind the wheel for a test drive. You’ll never go on a safer test drive in your life!
