There’s a lot of news in the automotive industry these days about vehicles going green, integrating hybrid, pure electric, or hydrogen drivetrains, and as your Chrysler dealership serving Battle Creek, MI, we’re no different here at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, though perhaps in some more unique ways than the rest of the industry.

What we mean by this is that we offer two truly excellent gasoline engines in our lineup that have made existing models more fuel efficient without having to fully integrate hybrid or plug-in technology.

We are not talking about the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, of course, the world’s first electrified minivan. This is a truly revolutionary vehicle that features an electric drivetrain capable of traveling upwards of 33 miles at a time without using a single drop of fuel. Fuel is available, though, which is why it’s rated at 84 MPGe overall by the EPA, but there’s no doubting it’s the greenest minivan currently in production.

Further innovation has occurred in the 1.4-liter Turbo MultiAir II engine that appears under the hood of new Jeep SUVs like the 2017 Jeep Renegade and the Pentastar V6 engine featured in the standard version of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The aforementioned MultiAir II has been tuned to be up to 10 percent more efficient than the competition, while the Pentastar engine has somehow managed to add six percent efficiency at the same time as 14.9 percent torque.

All of these models and drivetrains are fantastic in person, so come pay us a visit any time to take them for a test drive. You’ll fall in love with them very quickly, and you’ll help the environment immediately by driving them instead of a competitor that’s a little less green.
