It was just a week ago that we built up all the excitement that comes with a SEMA show by hyping up a handful of teaser images released by FCA ahead of the exhibition. Now that this year’s SEMA has come and gone, however, we can take a look at some of the hottest models actually to hit the exhibition floor.

The most newsworthy vehicle rolling into SEMA this year was that 2016 Dodge Challenger GT AWD we mentioned in our last post. Almost from the moment Dodge reincarnated the model back in 2007 people have been clamoring for an all-wheel drive system and thanks to Mopar that now is possible in what could become the brand’s “all-weather muscle car.”

Beyond that, though, as your friendly neighborhood Jeep dealership serving Kalamazoo we were especially pleased to see FCA and Mopar team up to develop a slick 2016 Jeep Wrangler Red Rocks concept that really put an exclamation point on the exhibit this fall. Assembled to honor the 50th anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari that takes place in Moab, Utah every year, this SUV was outfitted with a number of custom pieces and hardware to make it roll over just about any surface, including the red rocks of Moab.

Chrysler brought something they called the 300 Super S, which essentially is a 300 Scat Pack featuring new front and rear fascias, Katskin leather interior upholstery and a huge V8 engine treated to Mopar Scat Pack performance kits to eke out some extra horsepower.

Overall, we were very pleased with how SEMA turned out and are very excited to see which of these modifications our own customers end up choosing to add to their own Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler automobiles!
