A lot of customers walk into Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM with the belief that, outside of buying a house, an automobile is the most expensive thing that they will ever purchase, but if that customer has children there is a good chance that no vehicle on our lot will be anywhere near as pricey as four years at a college or university.

Truthfully, we don’t have an answer for how to make that easier other than to recommend that they consider a career at a Chrysler dealership, because FCA US LLC already has started the process of providing its employees with a free college education.

Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is not currently one of the dealerships participating in the Degrees@Work program, but FCA US LLC is piloting it in a handful of states with the intention of eventually making it available to every Chrysler dealership in the country. Strayer University is the institution working as the educational partner in this program, and they offer an online program that could allow potential students to go after a degree no matter where in the county they’re located.

And the best part about it is that it wouldn’t cost these people anything to get that bachelors degree they’ve always wanted, which is great for them and also great for Chrysler dealerships, who will then have better educated, happier employees that can help the brand excel. New Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and RAM vehicles could potentially sell themselves, but we love having the best people possible to help with that process. Degrees@Work will contribute to the the future of Chrysler employees and will contribute to their ability to help you find you a vehicle that you love.
