Jeep® Teams Up with Movember Foundation

At some point over the course of the last ten years, November became synonymous with facial hair, not only in Portage, MI but all over the country. In truth, the Movember Foundation actually got underway back in 2004 with efforts to use the widespread growth of facial hair to increase awareness and funding for early cancer detection and the reduction of preventable deaths, and every year since, men all over the United States have been growing mustaches in support of the movement.

This year, Jeep® is getting involved by encouraging its fans to grow a mustache and post pictures of their facial hair on social media. In fact, one lucky fan will have their ‘stache chosen as a winner and will be awarded with a brand new Jeep vehicle, just like those currently available at your friendly neighborhood Jeep dealership.

Jeep obviously is thrilled to be joining up with the Movember Foundation this year, as good causes like this one are hard to pass up, especially when they involve promotions with so much potential for a good time.

“As the only global charity focused solely on men’s health, the Jeep brand’s alliance with the Movember Foundation gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on a very important issue,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand and Ram Brand, FCA – Global. “We’re encouraging our fans, followers and owners across the globe to ‘Grow a Mo, Show a Mo’ by purchasing one of our Jeep ‘Stache by Carstache accessories to affix to their vehicle and by taking the Move Challenge to support the Movember Foundation.”

If you’d like a chance to win a new Jeep Cherokee or Jeep Wrangler, start your own mustache this Movember and post pictures to Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #JeepStacheContest. Not only does that enter you into contention for the free SUV, but with every use of the hashtag Jeep will donate $1 to the Movember Foundation.

Enjoy the hairiest month of the year, and do your part to help put an end to cancer everywhere!
