No matter what version of the 2015 Dodge Charger a consumer may buy, the one thing they can be sure they’re getting is a fun automobile. It doesn’t really matter which trim or which engine—all of them are a joy to own and drive. That is, in fact, the entire reason that the Dodge Charger exists in the first place, but enhancements also exist to turn that joy up to 11, and Mopar just came out with a whole slew of them for the R/T trim of the newest Charger model.

Mopar, for those new to the brand, is the FCA performance branch, and they are constantly coming up with amazing things to help improve our automobiles. In the case of the Dodge Charger R/T, that would be the Stage 1 Scat Pack kit, which tacks on cat-back exhaust and cold-air intake to add 18 hp and 18 lb-ft of torque, bringing the total up from 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque to 388 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque.

Visually, it includes a very clean-looking matte black body paint, while inside it gets a serialized dash plaque and new door sill plates.

Mopar only does this once a year, and in 2015 only 50 examples of the dealer-installed upgrade package will be made available. The sales team at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM doesn’t know when we’ll be given the opportunity to install any of these kits, but if you think you might be interested you should certainly call and we’ll dig up any information that we can on the update. The new Charger R/T should be more fun to drive than ever after this Mopar upgrade!
