When a potential RAM customer has a seat at a computer and plays around with the customization tools on an online configurator, it’s very often true that they spend more time picking the exterior color of the automobile than they do anything else. We don’t blame them, either, because here at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we know how important it is to get that exterior color right. Few things are more indicative of a person’s personality than the color of their automobile, right?

The problem for some pickup lovers, though, is that yellow hasn’t been an option for exterior paint unless those consumers were in Texas, where a special RAM 1500 Yellow Rose of Texas edition once was made available for a short time. Yellow is no longer quite so exclusive for consumers near Kalamazoo, MI, thanks to the 2016 RAM 1500 Stinger Yellow, which makes its way to RAM dealerships all over the country this month.

If the yellow color option isn’t enough to generate excitement among fans of the brand, then perhaps some of the other aesthetic flourishes will. The truck also features some slick black decals and nice all-black wheels that can be as big as 22 inches. Inside, the pickup is expected to feature black upholstery with yellow accents, and we know that the engine will be a powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8 capable of producing just shy of 400 hp.

All this is on top of everything else that makes the RAM 1500 one of the best-selling automobiles in the country. Yes, the exterior color is important, but so is everything else that makes these trucks great. We’re just glad to be able to offer one more color option for people whose personalities demanded that a yellow RAM 1500 exist. Now, thankfully, it does.
