If there are two things that American consumers love it’s country music and pickup trucks, and based on the number of country musicians that talk about new RAM trucks specifically in their songs, we’re not surprised in the least to see the truck manufacturer team up with music publication Rolling Stone Country to develop a new online platform that would help both get more involved with a music genre that easily is one of the most popular in the country.

The platform is very video-centric, and RAM will get the most exposure as the main sponsor of the RAM Report, a daily video series that highlights the most noteworthy country music news of the day. Other videos eventually will air, some of which will involve live music, while the kick-off will involve an interview with Lady Antebellum lead man Charles Kelley, who will perform at a Rolling Stone Country Live event in Nashville on November 3, presented by RAM.

“We are thrilled to partner with Ram on this exciting program, which marks Rolling Stone’s commitment to country music and our dedication to creating quality video content,” said Gus Wenner, Head of Digital of Wenner Media. “We started Rolling Stone Country out of a deep love for the music, and look forward to this collaboration that will reach an audience who are as passionate about their trucks, as they are about their music.”

As long as country singers keep plugging rugged pickups in their music, your friendly neighborhood RAM dealership serving Kalamazoo will continue enjoying the relationship between the music and the ride. In the meantime, make sure you check out the new Rolling Stone Country RAM Report every day!
