There are plenty of television shows and movies out there today that explore what would happen if society lost access to electricity, and all of our valuable, life-altering technologies were no longer available. It’s an intriguing thing to consider since technology has become such a massive part of our lives, but thankfully we don’t really have to worry about that happening since we live in reality rather than some crazy, imaginative science fiction world.

Nowhere has technology become more essential over the course of the last ten years than in our cars, where infotainment systems have completely changed the way that we use our vehicles. Of course, getting that technology for a reasonable price can prove challenging, particularly when so many automakers charge premiums for them. Luckily, Kelley Blue Book recently put out a list of what they consider to be the “10 Tech-Savviest Cars Under $20,000,” of which the 2014 Dodge Dart was one.

In particular, really likes the updates to the Uconnect infotainment system featured in the new Dodge Dart, as it runs “the most intuitive touch screen interface in the industry” and is controlled through an 8.4-inch display screen, the largest of any vehicle in its class. Tack on the 7-inch configurable gauge cluster, and it becomes pretty clear very quickly that this really is a car doing some neat things with technology.

The reasonable price tag on this Dodge compact sedan makes it all the more desirable, proving that life with working technology is amazing, and Dodge is doing nothing but making it even better with the new Dart.
