Our customers here at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM have been excited about the prospect of a couple of exciting new Jeep vehicles for quite some time now, and we have finally been given some sense of when we can expect the release of the forthcoming Jeep Wrangler pickup truck and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk®.

At this year’s L.A. Auto Show, Jeep CEO Mike Manley revealed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will debut at the New York International Auto Show in April, while the Jeep Wrangler pickup looks as though it will find its way to dealerships sometime in 2018 following the release of the updated standard Jeep Wrangler in the second half of 2017.

Both models are worthy of the excitement they already have generated. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, for example, could end up being the most powerful SUV in the industry should it include the 707-hp Hellcat engine we’ve seen in a couple of pavement-blistering Dodge models. While there’s no guarantee that this engine will find its way under the hood of this new Trackhawk model, it is slated to be the most powerful Jeep for sale when it does finally hit the market.

As for the Jeep Wrangler pickup, fans have been talking about it for years, which is what makes its imminent arrival so thrilling. With the redesigned Jeep Wrangler pushed back a bit, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer than expected for the truck, but based on everyone’s patient anticipation, we’re guessing it will be worth the wait.

In the meantime, we’ve got plenty of great Jeep models in stock for drivers in Battle Creek, MI to check out. Stop by any time and get yourself a sneak preview of the great Jeep vehicles set to debut in the next 18 months!
